My Beautiful Car

In a blink of my eyes, I was the happiest girl with her first car. It was May 17th. One of my 4 brother's birthday. I came home from work on lunch break and there in the driveway was a Beautiful 2003 Toyota, Corolla.
HOW EXCITING!

My most favorite parts of my new car are the 38MPG it gets, and the AwEsOmE, sunroof!

What a dream car! Today I will be making my first payment and I am very excited about that!

God is good and fulfills every thing the best He plans for us!

My Chincita!

"Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass. "Psalms 37:4-5

What a beautiful surprise the Lord provided me with on monday of this past week!(June 3rd 2010) I can home on lunch break from work to a friend in the home for lunch. As we prepared for the meal Mamy (my mother) said that she had something very inportant to tell us. We all gathered around to see what was the news and she shared with us the most astounding thing ever! A friend had bought a horse and given it to me that morning. It was delivered to our friend's house 6 miles away. She was all mine!!!!!!!!! I could have screamed for joy! What a dream come true, and a veryyyyy far away dream at that!

She is a Bay Paint. She is about 14 and something hands high. (still has a little growing to do) SHe is mainly brown, with white and some black. She's about 2 years, and green broke. Her registered name is "Boston Two-eyed Chinco", (I haven't decided what to call her yet!!!)

Last night i was able to go see her after work. I took along a comb so as I got to know her I strightened out her mane. What a mess! I'll show a before picture!

She really has beautiful hair! I love the black stripes in her mane.

What a blessing, and a surprise. I can hardly wait for summer break and my weekends off so I can work with her!

While I was falling in love with Miss "Two-Eyed" (haha) my little brothers were having fun with some cute little puppies.

Rejoice with me!

The Secret Is Acceptance

I will put my trust in Him. HEBREWS 2:13

Helen Roseveare was a British medical missionary in the Congo years ago during an uprising. Her faith was strong and her trust was confident, yet she was raped and assaulted and treated brutally. Commenting later, she said, "I must ask myself a question as if it came directly from the Lord. 'Can you thank Me for trusting you with this experience even if I never tell you why?'"
What a profound thought! God has trusted each of us with our own set of unfair circumstances and unexplained experiences to deal with. Can we still trust in Him even if He never tells us why?
The secret to responsible trust in acceptance. Acceptance is taking from God's hand absolutely everything He give, looking into His face in trust and thanksgiving, knowing that the confinement of the hedge we're in is good and for His glory.
Perfect Trust
